  • Inactivated 19 January 1946 at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey
  • Converted and redesignated 1 August 1946 as the 3623d Transportation Corps Truck Company
  • Redesignated 17 March 1948 as the 605th Transportation Truck Company and allotted to the Organized Reserves
  • (Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps)
  • Activated 2 April 1948 at Buffalo, New York
  • Inactivated 31 July 1950 at Buffalo, New York
  • Redesignated 13 December 1951 as the 605th Transportation Amphibious Truck Company; concurrently withdrawn from the Organized Reserve Corps and allotted to the Regular Army
  • Activated 7 January 1952 at Fort Story, Virginia
  • Reorganized and redesignated 5 December 1952 as the 605th Transportation Company
  • Inactivated 6 December 1957 at Fort Story, Virginia
  • Activated 1 August 1965 at Fort Riley, Kansas
  • Inactivated 1 May 1972 at Phu Loi, Vietnam
  • Redesignated 16 April 1988 as the 605th Transportation Detachment and activated at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
