  • Constituted 25 April 1944 in the Army of the United States as the 430th Port Company, Transportation Corps
  • Activated 1 May 1944 at Indiantown Gap Military Reservation, Pennsylvania
  • Inactivated 20 January 1946 in the Philippines
  • Redesignated 26 December 1947 as the 430th Transportation Port Company and allotted to the Organized Reserves
  • Activated 13 January 1948 at Baltimore, Maryland
  • (Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps; redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)
  • Reorganized and redesignated 2 June 1953 as the 430th Transportation Company
  • Ordered into active military service 1 October 1961 at Baltimore, Maryland; released from active military service 7 August 1962 and reverted to reserve status
  • Ordered into active military service 11 February 2003 at Baltimore, Maryland; released from active military service 10 February 2004 and reverted to reserve status
  • (Element ordered into active military service 25 October 2008 at Baltimore, Maryland; released from active military service 28 November 2009 and reverted to reserve status)
