Reorganized and redesignated 1 April 1945 as the 3387th Quartermaster Driver Detachment

Inactivated 10 October 1945 in New Guinea

Converted and redesignated 1 August 1946 as the 3387th Transportation Corps Driver Detachment

Redesignated 7 July 1965 as the 387th Transportation Detachment and allotted to the Regular Army

Activated 21 July 1965 at Fort Eustis, Virginia

Inactivated 12 November 1968 on Okinawa

Withdrawn 20 June 2005 from the Regular Army and allotted to the Army Reserve

Activated 16 September 2006 at Tampa, Florida

Ordered into active military service 15 March 2008 at Tampa, Florida; released from active military service 18 April 2009 and reverted to reserve status
