            Organized in December 1929 at Salisbury, Maryland

            Redesignated 1 July 1936 as Company H, 2d Battalion, 473d Quartermaster Regiment

            Redesignated 1 April 1942 as Company H, 2d Battalion, 473d Quartermaster Truck Regiment

            Ordered into active military service 2 April 1943 and reorganized at Camp Young, California

            Reorganized and redesignated 2 December 1943 as the 3748th Quartermaster Truck Company

            Inactivated 31 May 1946 in the Philippines

            Converted and redesignated 1 August 1946 as the 3748th Transportation Corps Truck Company

            Redesignated 9 May 1947 as the 356th Transportation Truck Company

            Activated 26 May 1947 at Tulsa, Oklahoma

            (Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps; redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

            Inactivated 15 December 1950 at Tulsa, Oklahoma

            Redesignated 17 March 1959 as the 356th Transportation Company

            Activated 1 April 1959 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

            Location changed 5 May 1960 to Norman, Oklahoma

            Ordered into active military service 1 October 1961 at Norman, Oklahoma; released from active military service 13 August 1962 and reverted to reserve status

            Inactivated 16 October 1980 at Norman, Oklahoma

            Activated 16 September 2011 at Las Cruces, New Mexico
