  • Converted and redesignated 1 August 1946 as the 3339th Transportation Corps Driver Detachment
  • Redesignated 5 November 1962 as the 339th Transportation Detachment and allotted to the Army Reserve
  • Activated 15 February 1963 at Lexington, Nebraska
  • Inactivated 15 March 1972 at Lexington, Nebraska
  • Activated 16 May 1983 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois
  • Ordered into active military service 20 September 1990 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois; released 28 May 1991 from active military service and reverted to reserve status
  • Location changed 16 September 1993 to Manhattan, Kansas
  • Ordered into active military service 10 February 2003 at Manhattan, Kansas; released from active military service 12 June 2004 and reverted to reserve status
  • Ordered into active military service 28 January 2011 at Manhattan, Kansas; released from active military service 2 March 2012 and reverted to reserve status
