        Inactivated 25 January 1946 in the Philippines

        Redesignated 27 December 1948 as the 236th Transportation Port Company and allotted to the Organized Reserve Corps

        Activated 1 February 1949 at Des Moines, Iowa

        (Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

        Inactivated 14 September 1954 at Des Moines, Iowa

        Redesignated 13 July 1956 as the 236th Transportation Company and activated at Port Huron, Michigan

        Location changed 1 November 1963 to Marine City, Michigan; on 15 March 1977 to Selfridge, Michigan

        Inactivated 16 July 1979 at Selfridge, Michigan

        Activated 16 September 2008 at Bay City, Michigan

        Location changed 16 February 2009 to Decatur, Illinois

        Ordered into active military service 20 April 2011 at Decatur, Illinois
