  • Inducted into Federal service 23 June 1941 at Reno
  • Reorganized and redesignated 10 September 1943 as Headquarters Battery, 121st Antiaircraft Artillery Gun Battalion
  • Reorganized and redesignated 4 January 1945 as Headquarters Battery, 1st Rocket Battalion
  • Reorganized and redesignated 13 April 1945 as Headquarters Battery, 421st Rocket Field Artillery Battalion
  • Inactivated 15 January 1946 at Fort Lawton, Washington
  • Consolidated with Battery A, 421st Rocket Field Artillery Battalion (see ANNEX 1), and consolidated unit reorganized and Federally recognized 19 January 1949 in the Nevada Army National Guard at Reno as Headquarters Battery, 421st Antiaircraft Artillery Gun Battalion
  • Reorganized and redesignated 1 December 1952 as Headquarters Battery, 421st Antiaircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion
  • Redesignated 1 October 1953 as Headquarters Battery, 421st Antiaircraft Artillery Battalion
  • Consolidated 1 April 1959 with the Medical Detachment, 421st Antiaircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion (see ANNEX 2), and consolidated unit designated as Headquarters Battery, 1st Gun Battalion, 221st Artillery

  • Converted, reorganized, and redesignated 1 March 1972 as Headquarters Detachment, 150th Composite Battalion
  • Redesignated 1 March 1973 as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 150th Service Battalion

  • Reorganized 1 October 1978 as the Command and Control Headquarters, Nevada Army National Guard, a table of distribution and allowances unit; concurrently, location changed to Reno

  • Reorganized 1 September 2007 in the Nevada and Arizona Army National Guard with Headquarters at Reno
