  • Redesignated 16 June 1996 as the 138th Psychological Operations Detachment
  • Redesignated 18 September 2006 as the 338th Psychological Operations Company; concurrently withdrawn from the Regular Army and allotted to the Army Reserve
  • Activated 16 September 2010 at Fort Jackson, South Carolina
