Reorganized and redesignated 27 June 1926 as Headquarters Company, 156th Infantry

Inducted into Federal service 25 November 1940 at New Orleans

(156th Infantry relieved 14 July 1942 from assignment to the 31st Division)

Inactivated 13 March 1946 at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey

Converted and redesignated 27 May 1946 as the 39th Signal Company and assigned to the 39th Infantry Division

Reorganized and Federally recognized 5 February 1948 at New Orleans

Reorganized and redesignated 1 July 1959 as Headquarters Company, 139th Signal Battalion, an element of the 39th Infantry Division

Reorganized and redesignated 1 May 1963 as Headquarters Detachment, 139th Signal Battalion

Relieved 1 December 1967 from assignment to the 39th Infantry Division; concurrently consolidated with Headquarters, 2222d Engineer Battalion (organized and Federally recognized 29 November 1965 at New Orleans), and consolidated unit reorganized and redesignated as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 2222d Engineer Battalion

Converted and redesignated 1 November 1975 as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 773d Supply and Service Battalion

Reorganized and redesignated 1 April 1982 as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 773d Maintenance Battalion

Consolidated 1 February 1993 with the 3673d Maintenance Company (see ANNEX) and consolidated unit designated as the 3673d Maintenance Company

Organized and Federally recognized 1 October 1952 in the Louisiana Air National Guard at New Orleans as Company B, 875th Engineer Aviation Battalion

Redesignated 1 August 1953 as Company C, 891st Engineer Aviation Battalion

Redesignated 27 August 1954 as Company C, 225th Engineer Aviation Battalion

(225th Engineer Aviation Battalion allotted 1 September 1954 to the Louisiana Army National Guard)

Reorganized and redesignated 15 January 1957 as Company C, 225th Engineer Battalion

Consolidated 1 May 1963 with Company D, 225th Engineer Battalion (organized and Federally recognized 1 May 1961 at New Orleans), and consolidated unit reorganized and redesignated as the 2226th Engineer Company

Converted and redesignated 1 November 1975 as Detachment 1, 3673d Maintenance Company

Reorganized and redesignated 1 March 1977 as the 3673d Maintenance Company

Ordered into active Federal service 19 October 1990 at New Orleans; released from active Federal service 4 June 1991 and reverted to state control
