Activated 26 December 1942 at Camp Gordon, Georgia

Inactivated 15 February 1946 at Camp Shelby, Mississippi

Redesignated 31 October 1955 as the 603d Military Police Company and allotted to the Army Reserve

Activated 1 November 1955 at Indianapolis, Indiana

Reorganized and redesignated 7 February 1957 as the 603d Military Police Guard Company

Location changed 1 May 1959 to Detroit, Michigan; on 15 June 1959 to Dearborn, Michigan

Ordered into active military service 9 October 1961 at Dearborn, Michigan; released from active military service 6 August 1962 and reverted to reserve status

Reorganized and redesignated 1 June 1963 as the 603d Military Police Company

Location changed 7 April 1966 to Livonia, Michigan

Inactivated 1 February 1972 at Livonia, Michigan

Activated 16 September 2006 at Belton, Missouri

Ordered into active military service 8 June 2007; released from active military service 11 July 2008 and reverted to reserve status
