  • Activated 5 February 1945 in Italy
  • Redesignated 25 April 1945 as the 315th Military Police Escort Guard Detachment
  • Disbanded 17 November 1945 at Fort Riley, Kansas
  • Reconstituted 21 July 1964 in the Regular Army as the 215th Military Police Detachment
  • Activated 1 September 1964 at Oakdale, Pennsylvania
  • Inactivated 1 June 1974 at Oakdale, Pennsylvania
  • Withdrawn from the Regular Army 13 March 2003 and allotted to the Army Reserve
  • Activated 16 September 2005 at San Juan, Puerto Rico
  • Ordered into active military service 23-30 June 2007 at San Juan, Puerto Rico; released from active military service 21-28 June 2008 and reverted to reserve status
  • Ordered into active military service 15 December 2011 at San Juan, Puerto Rico; released from active military service 17 January 2013 and reverted to reserve status
