Reorganized and redesignated 18 July 1958 as the 314th Public Information Detachment

Inactivated 1 September 1959 at Rochester, New Hampshire

Activated 1 March 1963 at Manchester, New Hampshire

Inactivated 10 April 1964 at Manchester, New Hampshire

Redesignated 16 April 1982 as the 314th Public Affairs Detachment and activated at Birmingham, Alabama

Ordered into active military service 31 August 1990 at Birmingham, Alabama; released from active military service 28 November 1990 and reverted to reserve status

Ordered into active military service 24 November 2001 at Birmingham, Alabama; released from active military service 12 August 2002 and reverted to reserve status

Ordered into active military service 5 December 2008 at Birmingham, Alabama; released from active military service 8 January 2010 and reverted to reserve status
