    • Organized and Federally recognized 4 October 1975 at Cheyenne
    • Consolidated 1 September 1990 with the 920th Medical Detachment (see ANNEX), and consolidated unit designated as the 1022d Medical Company
    • Ordered into active Federal service 21 November 1990 at Cheyenne; released from active Federal service 22 May 1991 and reverted to state control
    • Ordered into active Federal service 22 February 2001 at Cheyenne; released from active Federal service 30 October 2001 and reverted to state control
    • Ordered into active Federal service 22 March 2003 at Cheyenne; released from active Federal service 3 September 2003 and reverted to state control
    • Ordered into active Federal service 4 January 2004 at Cheyenne; released from active Federal service 1 July 2005 and reverted to state control
    • ANNEX
    • Organized and Federally recognized 1 September 1978 in the Wyoming Army National Guard at Cheyenne as Detachment 1, 541st Aviation Company
    • Redesignated 1 June 1979 as Detachment 1, Attack Helicopter Troop, 116th Armored Cavalry4
    • Converted and redesignated 1 October 1985 as the 920th Medical Detachment
