            Location changed 12 October 1933 to Mobile, Alabama; on 30 March 1935 to Vicksburg, Mississippi; on 31 March 1937 to Mobile, Alabama

            Inactivated 1 January 1938 at Mobile, Alabama; concurrently withdrawn from the Organized Reserves and assigned to the Regular Army

            Redesignated 7 November 1941 as the 471st Engineer Mobile Shop Company

            Activated 15 December 1941 at Fort Belvoir, Virginia

            Redesignated 31 May 1942 as the 471st Engineer Maintenance Company

            Inactivated 14 December 1945 in Germany

            Withdrawn 14 January 1947 from the Regular Army and allotted to the Organized Reserves

            Activated 31 January 1947 at Columbia, Missouri

            (Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps; redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

            Inactivated 17 November 1950 at Columbia, Missouri

            Redesignated 5 November 1962 as the 471st Engineer Company
