        Redesignated 9 May 1947 as the 449th Engineer Treadway Bridge Company and allotted to the Organized Reserves

        Activated 26 May 1947 at Longview, Texas

        (Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps; redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

        Inactivated 25 July 1950 at Longview, Texas

        Redesignated 29 March 1955 as the 449th Engineer Company

        Activated 9 April 1955 at Fayetteville, Arkansas

        Inactivated 1 April 1959 at Fayetteville, Arkansas

        Activated 9 May 2007 at Fort Thomas, Kentucky

        Ordered into active military service 22 May 2007 at Fort Thomas, Kentucky; released from active military service 24 June 2008 and reverted to reserve status
