  • Redesignated 24 July 1946 as the 161st Engineer Parachute Company
  • Activated 1 August 1946 at Fort Benning, Georgia
  • Inactivated 14 November 1946 at Fort Benning, Georgia
  • Redesignated 2 October 1957 as the 161st Engineer Company and allotted to the Regular Army
  • Activated 15 October 1957 in Japan
