2d BRIGADE, 94th TRAINING DIVISION

 

Constituted 24 June 1921 in the Organized Reserves as the 319th Ammunition Train and assigned to the 94th Division

Organized in November 1921 with Headquarters at Worcester, Massachusetts

Converted and redesignated 30 January 1942 as the 919th Field Artillery Battalion, and remained assigned to the 94th Division (later redesignated as the 94th Infantry Division)

Ordered into active military service 15 September 1942 and reorganized at Fort Custer, Michigan

Inactivated 9 February 1946 at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey

Activated 13 February 1947 with Headquarters at Worcester, Massachusetts

(Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps; redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

            Disbanded 1 May 1959 at Worcester, Massachusetts

Headquarters, 919th Field Artillery Battalion, reconstituted 5 September 2006 in the Army Reserve as Headquarters, 2d Brigade, 94th Training Division

Activated 16 September 2009 at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
