  • Inactivated 26 November 1945 at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey
  • Allotted 21 February 1952 to the Organized Reserve Corps
  • Activated 1 March 1952 with Headquarters at New Orleans, Louisiana
  • (Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)
  • Inactivated 31 January 1955 at New Orleans, Louisiana
  • Headquarters, 899th Field Artillery Battalion, consolidated 17 October 1999 with Headquarters, 2d Brigade, 75th Division (Exercise) (activated 1 October 1993 at Houston, Texas); consolidated unit reorganized and redesignated as Headquarters, 2d Brigade, 75th Division (Training Support) and allotted to the Regular Army at Fort Sam Houston, Texas (remainder of 899th Field Artillery Battalion concurrently disbanded)
  • Inactivated 30 November 2006 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas; concurrently relieved from allotment to the Regular Army and allotted to the Army Reserve
  • Activated 1 July 2007 at Fort Dix, New Jersey
  • Reorganized and redesignated 2 November 2008 as Headquarters, 2d Brigade, 75th Training Division
  • Redesignated 20 October 2012 as Headquarters, Atlantic Training Division, 75th Training Command
