  • Inactivated 6 January 1946 at the New York Port of Embarkation
  • Allotted 2 July 1952 to the Regular Army
  • Activated 15 August 1952 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina
  • Redesignated 1 December 1953 as the 9th Chemical Company
  • Inactivated 19 June 1965 in Germany
  • Assigned 1 September 1981 to the 9th Infantry Division and activated at Fort Lewis, Washington
  • Relieved 16 February 1991 from assignment to the 9th Infantry Division and assigned to the 199th Infantry Brigade
  • Inactivated 14 January 1994 at Fort Polk, Louisiana, and relieved from assignment to the 199th Infantry Brigade
  • Activated 16 October 2012 at Fort Lewis, Washington
