        Redesignated 17 May 1947 as the 313th Army Band

        Allotted 9 December 1947 to the Organized Reserves

        Activated 22 December 1947 at Escanaba, Michigan

        (Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps; redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

        Inactivated 23 March 1949 at Escanaba, Michigan

        Activated 1 February 1950 at Hattiesburg, Mississippi

        Ordered into active military service 15 October 1950 at Hattiesburg, Mississippi; released from active military service 7 March 1955 and reverted to reserve status

        Location changed 1 April 1963 to Birmingham, Alabama

        Elements ordered into active military service 27 January 2003 at Birmingham, Alabama; released from active military service 26 January 2004 and reverted to reserve status

        Elements ordered into active military service 1 August 2005 at Birmingham, Alabama; released from active military service 27 January 2007 and reverted to reserve status
