  • Constituted 1 February 1967 in the Regular Army as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 210th Aviation Battalion, and activated at Fort Bragg, North Carolina
  • Inactivated 31 August 1971 in Vietnam
  • Redesignated 30 April 1973 as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 210th Aviation Battalion, and activated in the Panama Canal Zone
  • Inactivated 15 October 1987 in Panama
  • Battalion redesignated 6 January 1996 as the 210th Aviation, a parent regiment under the United States Army Regimental System, and transferred to the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command
  • Redesignated 1 October 2005 as the 210th Aviation Regiment
