113th CAVALRY REGIMENT
- Constituted 4 May 1992 in the Iowa Army National Guard as the 113th Cavalry, a parent regiment under the United States Army Regimental System
- Organized 1 September 1992 from existing units to consist of the 1st Squadron, an element of the 34th Infantry Division
- Reorganized 1 September 2002 to consist of the 1st Squadron and Troop G, elements of the 34th Infantry Division
- (1st Squadron ordered into active Federal service 10 October 2003 at home stations; released from active Federal service 9 October 2004 and reverted to state control)
- Redesignated 1 October 2005 as the 113th Cavalry Regiment
- Reorganized 1 September 2006 to consist of the 1st Squadron, an element of the 34th Infantry Division, with Headquarters at Sioux City
- Ordered into active Federal service 4 August 2010 at home stations; released from active Federal service 7 September 2011 and reverted to state control
