A special edition of six prints by Sgt. First Class Elzie Golden that depict contemporary Army activities, including Operation ENDURING FREEDOM and Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.

ELZIE GOLDEN joined the U.S. Army Center of Military History in 2002 to produce artwork for the Army Artist program, and was assigned to document current operations and training activities. Before that assignment, he taught future joint-service, multimedia illustrators at the Defense Information School at Fort Meade, Md. Golden's artwork is featured in several CMH books, including Portrait of an Army and Soldiers Serving the Nation. He also provided art for the Armed Forces Day posters for 2001 and 2002. Golden studied fine art at the School of Visual Arts in New York and the University of Arizona.
