Activated 1 August 1946 at Fort Benning, Georgia

Inactivated 14 November 1946 at Fort Benning, Georgia

Redesignated 2 October 1957 as the 161st Engineer Company and allotted to the Regular Army

Activated 15 October 1957 in Japan

Inactivated 15 May 1973 in Korea
