Redesignated 25 October 1954 as the 42d Engineer Company and activated at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri

Inactivated 1 September 1960 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri

Assigned 1 September 1963 to the United States Army Berlin Brigade and activated in Germany

Inactivated 15 May 1994 in Germany and relieved from assignment to the United States Army Berlin Brigade

Activated 16 February 2010 in Germany
