Activated 24 August 1948 at Linden, New Jersey

Ordered into active military service 11 September 1950 at Linden, New Jersey

(Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Reorganized and redesignated 1 October 1953 as the 355th Chemical Company

Released from active military service 26 November 1954 and reverted to reserve status

Location changed 1 October 1955 to Buffalo, New York; on 1 October 1970 to Niagara Falls, New York; on 1 December 1975 to Altoona, Pennsylvania; on 1 February 1976 to Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania; and on 18 September 1999 to Las Vegas, Nevada
